Plug-and-Pack3; machinery meeting at Pack Expo

Learn about advances made in Plug-and-Pack™ machinery. Such equipment uses standard operator interface screens, machine states, programming languages, and networks. The benefit: fast, flexible changeover and the ability to be plugged into a packaging line anywhere in the world.

The OMAC Packaging Workgroup, a users group of end users, machinery builders, and automation suppliers, is making steady progress toward Plug-and-Pack machinery and will report its results at Pack Expo.

Packaging end users should attend the meeting to learn how to demand Plug-and-Pack machinery from suppliers.

Machinery builders should attend to learn how to satisfy customer needs without incurring unnecessary development costs.

The meeting will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2002 at McCormick Place room S106 A & B in the South Hall, from 1 to 3 p.m.
