Duracell Plant Marks New Curbside Recyclable Packaging with Walmart

The short video below includes some glimpses of the #packaging equipment, which was revealed to be retrofitted from existing thermoformed blister packs for the all-paper application. While the precise details were sparse, the company revealed that Algus Packaging, Proseal America, Inc., a JBT Corporation company, and KOCH Pac-Systeme GmbH/Uhlmann Pac-Systeme packaging equipment features in the new automated primary packaging lines. Rohrer Corporation was reported to be the material supplier, and the packs are printed offset, two-sided, four-color with coatings. They are formed from flat blanks with pressure, then heat sealed.
