AmeriPakglobal packaging solutions provider for leading CPG brands, has adopted production management software from Toronto-based Nulogy to streamline its contract packaging operations at their sites in Norwalk and Pico Rivera, CA. The software, PackManager, is intended to improve the traceability of materials, and better track productivity and profitability.

“One of our largest challenges was providing real-time data to our clients,” Karen Fuchs, vice president of operations, said. She cited the "considerable time and effort" that has been required to consolidate and report results to brand partners, and said the software has "streamlined this process considerably, providing us robust reporting and visual tools to better understand our efficiency & productivity."

The implementation includes a Warehouse Management System module that will allow AmeriPak to trace and report materials down to the pallet and provide real-time visibility to on hand inventory. Regarding this capability, Fuchs said the software lets AmeriPak manage inventory and transactions "in one place, and can run simple reports to provide reliable real-time data." Previously, she said calculating productivity metrics "took us considerable time each week. PackManager has streamlined this process considerably, providing us robust reporting and visual tools to better understand our efficiency & productivity. Quoting has become that much easier. We have a much clearer view into which projects are most profitable, and it’s allowed us to grow our business successfully.”
