UV Screen Printing Further Differentiates Yoplait's Glass-jarred Oui Yogurt

Oui by Yoplait introduced the French Florals Collection, consisting of three limited-edition, designed glass pots inspired by flowers from France.

The Oui™ by Yoplait® limited-edition French Florals Collection is a set of three uniquely designed glass pots, each inspired by flowers from different areas in France: Paris Magnolias, French Alps Globe Flowers, and Provence Lavender. The flowers are screen printed on the Oui jars using UV inks. The limited-edition pots are not structurally or functionally different from regular Oui glass pots.

The flowers are screen printed on the Oui jars using UV inks and two-color designs. The uniquely designed on-glass printing is the real departure in this packaging development. Otherwise, these Oui pots are the same as the standard versions, and the foil closure is the consistent across the portfolio. 

"All Oui by Yoplait flavors will be available in the limited-edition French Florals Collection glass pot designs," says CJ Kidd, Senior R&D Engineer - Packaging, at General Mills. "The designs are paying homage to the beauty of France and through the designs we hope to inspire people to take time to enjoy the beauty of a moment to themselves with Oui’s French-style yogurt. The stunning glass pots also add flair to any re-use / upcycling of the jars after consumption of the yogurt." 

All Oui by Yoplait flavors will be sold in these uniquely designed glass pots at retailers and grocery stores nationwide for an SRP of $1.49. -PW
