MGS: Small footprint case packer

See it at PACK EXPO Las Vegas Booth #4517! The MatriX case packer from MGS Machine is designed to virtually eliminate track and trace failures, helping manufacturers comply with the January 2015 serialization requirement that all manufacturers serialize 50% of their packages.

The MatriX features a small footprint design – the base machine is less than 3 meters long – to provide fail-safe inspection of collated cartons.

The MatriX also features:  a positive vacuum case opener that insures tough cases will open; an ergonomically-designed case magazine for easy loading, preventing operator injury and strain; smooth and positive servo-driven, indexing shuttle case transport system that creates square cases; a cGMP design suitable for the pharmaceutical/health care industry; Klean Top design to ease cleaning and lot batch changeover – saving time; tool-less adjustments that allow fast and accurate changeovers.

The case packer also features the latest ANSI/PMMI B155.1 safeguarding standards to ensure regulatory compliance and staff safety.  Its metric design meets international standards.  An infeed collator design permits inspection of product to be loaded as part of the serialization solution, and validation assistance is included at no extra cost to save money and time during start up and commissioning.
