The BCL500i Bar Code Reader from Leuze was developed for high-speed palletizing, with adjustable scan rates from 600 to 1,200 scans/sec, a reading range of 300 to 1,600 mm, an optical deflection or oscillating mirror, and +/- 30° sweep.

The IP65-rated scanner uses code reconstruction technology and an optional integrated heating element for applications to -35°C, while guaranteeing scanning reliability in almost all environments. Standard RS232/422/485, Profibus, or Ethernet/Profinet interfaces and web browser configuration make the unit a virtual plug-and-play device.
