IPL Material Handling: Collapsible lettuce crate

Crate is the largest hand-held collapsible crate that fits five containers per layer on a GMA pallet. The imperial footprint is 24” x 16”. Another primary benefit is optimized ventilation. Here, the ventilation is reduced as it is forced through the core of the lettuce, not around it, providing uniform cooling while preventing drying of the produce.
