O-I: Lightweight wine bottles

O-I’s Lean+Green® line of glass wine bottles are up to 27% lighter than similar wine bottles, according to the company.

750 mL wine bottles are available in 11.6 to 16 oz. The Lean+Green line comes in a variety of colors, including Champagne Green, Flint, Emerald Green and Dead Leaf Green. Bottles are between 16 and 27% lighter than current offerings, but retain the premium image of glass without noticeable changes in appearance and feel.
