Horizontal motion line conveyors for fast-moving food products have stringent requirements for sanitary cleanout procedures. In this short video, Chris Meadows, Sales Manager at Triple/S Dynamics, explains how customer feedback led to two new slide gate designs that comply with these requirements while reducing downtime. As demonstrated, line operators don’t need any tools to maintain the slide gates or clean them during changeovers, as the gates either pivot down under the conveyor or slide out the side on stacked conveyor lines.
