Utilizing state-of-the-art servo driven film feed and horizontal seal system motion the machine features a large 10.4” color touchscreen with intuitive display. The operator friendly machine design provides for a low overall height, lift-off machine guarding, and easy access to the interior of the machine. Size change-overs are simplified with the use of a pneumatic film spindle, web splice bar, and tool-less removal and replacement of forming sets. Users can use the same forming sets to produce pillow or gusseted bag styles with a simple exchange of bag spreader inserts located at the base of forming sets and actuation of gusset tooling.
The machine is robust and designed for use in non-food as well as food applications. Impulse and resistance sealing systems are available allowing users to run with a variety of supported and unsupported packaging materials producing bags 3 – 10” in width and up to 16” in length with a single longitudinal seal stroke.
Modular in design, the Bagmaster® 250 offers a broad range of options which can also be added as in-field upgrades at later dates. And, although Batching Systems, Inc. portfolio of products includes enough equipment to supply complete turnkey systems, the Bagmaster® 250 controls architecture has been implemented in accordance with PackML and PackML Tags to provide standardized integration of upstream and downstream equipment. Just as in the rest of its portfolio of equipment Batching Systems, Inc. has incorporated the same B&R controls platform in the new Bagmaster® 250 to provide a common look and feel for operators and maintenance staff when operating a system. All of this leads to improved system performance and Overall Equipment Effectiveness for the end-user.
