Available in 10 standard caliper grades ranging from .013 in. to .030 in., Kraftpak is an unbleached kraft paperboard with natural fiber composition and ultra low-density for very low package weight. Its uniform brown surface provides a clean, organic look and quality printability. Because Kraftpak provides high strength per pound, it is said to offer higher carton yield (20% to 25% more carriers) per ton than conventional paperboards, and can achieve overall package weight reductions of up to 25%. Using natural kraft fibers procured only from responsibly managed forests, KapStone’s Charleston Mill has earned multiple accreditations including FSC®, SFI®, PEFCTM and ATFS certifications.
