The AEGIS SGR™ Bearing Protection Ring™, manufactured by Electro Static
Technology, protects the motor bearings from shaft currents induced by
adjustable speed drives. Any motor up to 100 HP/75kW is guaranteed not
to fail from electrical bearing fluting damage for the life of the
motor when the AEGIS SGR Bearing Protection Ring is installed in
accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions. If
electrically induced fluting damage occurs, Electro Static Technology
will replace the motor bearings free of charge.
