Noveon’s (Cleveland, OH) clean carbon sheet is said to eliminate carbon sloughing and to provide a safe, dissipative surface for electrostatic damage (ESD) packaging.

Sheet has a construction of carbon-filled polystyrene core coextruded with a surface layer Stat-Rite® IDP alloy. Stat-Rite uses no fillers, thus eliminating the chance of particulate contamination. It provides static protection through a dissipative polymer network within the polystyrene.
