Paper Machinery Corp.: Preprinted container

Paper Machinery has launched the first commercial application of the Barrier Plus™ preprinted plastic container in collaboration with ProCal. Currently being applied in the garden and nursery market, the preprinted PP container is formed from a flat sheet, said to be a first in the industry.

The PMC 1002P machine produces the pots at speeds to 200/min in sizes from 6 to 32 oz, and the PMC 1300P forms 32- to 120-oz pots at speeds to 110/min. For other products, the PP provides, or can be modified to provide protection against moisture and gas absorbtion.
