(Kingsport, TN) opened its first Latin American Eastapak PET plant in Cosoleacaque, Veracruz, Mexico; Eastman broke ground for another Eastapak PET plant in Zarate, Argentina; it will also build a new plant in Port of Rotterdam, The Netherlands, to produce PET for containers and PTA, a raw material used to produce PET.
