G3 Enterprises Expands Chicago Contract Packaging Services

G3's Chicago logistics site now handles variety pack assembly, kitting, relabeling, and rework for brands juggling retailer requests and seasonal promotions.

G3

G3 Enterprises is expanding the contract packaging services offered at its Chicago logistics site. The expansion is aimed at food, beverage, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands that need to move faster on retailer requests, seasonal promotions, and shifting consumer demand.

Expanded capabilities include variety pack assembly, kitting and bundling, promotional packaging, retail-specific configurations, labeling, relabeling, product rework, quality inspections, and finished product preparation.

G3 says the Chicago operation keeps warehousing, contract packaging, and distribution inside a single third-party logistics (3PL) network, so product moves from storage into value-added packaging and out to shipment without leaving the system. The company positions the services for short-term programs such as seasonal promotions, limited-time offerings, and product launches, giving CPG brands added capacity without pulling equipment, labor, or floor space away from their own production.

“The value of contract packaging extends beyond the packaging operation itself,” says Brad Busam, vice president and general manager of global logistics at G3 Enterprises. “By connecting warehousing, packaging, and distribution, we can help customers simplify execution and respond more efficiently as business needs change.”
