Edward Weiss, Managing Director of Folene Packaging LLC, announced the appointment of Mr. Gerard Raccioppi to the position of Sales and Marketing Director. Gerard is now responsible for the popular Flxtite® Polyolefin Shrink Film line and the management and expansion of the company's marketing efforts, distribution network, independent rep organization, and end user specifications.
Gerard was formerly the President of Dynaclear ProPack Group, where he managed all aspects of that company's operations, especially its sales, marketing and product development efforts. Prior to his position with Dynaclear, Gerard was Director of Channel Sales and Marketing for Mahr Federal Products Company. "As a result of his long experience, technical expertise, and many industry contacts, Gerard will be a valuable asset, enabling us to continue our strong growth curve," said Mr. Weiss.
Folene Packaging, based in Midwood, NY, has its distribution center in Sayreville, NJ and its converting operation in Livingston, NJ. It specializes in biaxially-oriented polyolefin shrink films, both irradiated (cross-linked) and, multi-layer, non-irradiated, It inventories a vast quantity of stock centerfolded sizes from 6" to 32", and custom produces other sizes, as well single wind sheeting to customer specifications.
