The Sanner Group, a leading global supplier of high-quality intelligent packaging solutions and components for the medtech, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, and healthcare industries, has appointed Adrian Possumato as president of Sanner of America. In this position, Possumato will support the Sanner Group, with its shareholders GHO Capital and Sanner Ventures, in accelerating international growth plans, primarily by developing capabilities to facilitate U.S. market expansion.

“Adrian’s extensive knowledge of the global pharmaceutical and healthcare desiccant packaging market, combined with Sanner’s competencies in precision molding and active packaging solutions, will not only reinforce our reputation as a center of excellence, but also help our customers access their markets more quickly—further expanding Sanner’s global reach,” says Hans-Willem van Vliet, CEO of Sanner.

Possumato is a successful business development, market development, and operating executive with over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries and healthcare active packaging space. Before joining Sanner, he served as a principal consultant with Medica Industrial Consulting and, prior to that, was vice president of Multisorb Technologies, where he worked for 20 years. Possumato holds a B.A. in biology from Stockton University and has extensive knowledge of drug and in-vitro diagnostic product development.
