Boosting PET packaging line performance

Sidel will show its latest generation of technical solutions to boost PET packaging line performance at interpack 2005. The company says it can cut bottle blowing costs by 20%, compared with SBO Series2 equipment.

Making their debut at the interpack fair, the blowmolders are the result of three years of intense R&D. Eight molds will represent the latest packaging innovations, featuring lighter bottles and new, patented shapes. In addition to faster changeovers, this new blowing machine requires 25% less time for maintenance, company says.
