DT Packaging Systems becomes Nova Packaging Systems

DT Packaging Systems, comprising the Lakso, Merrill, Kalish, Swiftpack, and King brands of packaging machinery, will now be called Nova Packaging Systems.

James Ririe, president of the former DT Packaging Systems, and David Fischer, have teamed with Kinderhook Capital Industries to purchase DT Packaging Systems from Dayton-based DT Industries. Ririe is CEO and in charge of operations, while Fischer is president, taking responsibility for sales and marketing. Des O’Neil, also part of the buyout team, will continue as managing director of the Alcester, UK, plant.

The new company will continue to sell, support, and service Lakso, Merrill, Kalish, Swiftpack, and King product lines.
