Packaging machinery management conference set

The Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (Arlington, VA) is hosting an end-user-focused packaging machinery management conference Sept. 4-5, 2003, at the Doral Eaglewood Conference Resort in Itasca, IL.

"Our objective is to provide end users with tools to evaluate their packaging-line operations against other end users," says Ben Miyares, vp, industry relations. "This will include machinery approaches, package trends, and purchasing methods. We want everyone to walk away with strategies and techniques to improve their line performance."

The two-day conference will focus on improving profitability through the packaging machinery line. Participants will benchmark their operations with other industry leaders, and have a better understanding of the multiple facets of machinery selection. Also, the top packaging trends for 2003 and beyond will be identified and discussed.
