PMMI updates

The U.S. Dept. of Commerce has selected Pack Expo International 2000 to participate in its International Buyer Program, which means the government agency will use its worldwide network to promote the show.

Pack Expo International runs November 5-9 in Chicago’s McCormick Place and is sponsored by the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (Arlington, VA). Also participating in the International Buyer Program will be the International Exposition for Food Processors® 2000 show, which once again is co-locating with Pack Expo International. In a separate development, PMMI has signed a letter of cooperation with England’s Processing and Packaging Machinery Assn. It creates a favorable environment for jointly supported products, services and functions between the two trade associations.
