In India, new Food Act governs package labeling...

Starting in late August, India's Food Act will mandate that any product that emphasizes a new ingredient in words, pictures, or graphics on its label must state the percentage of that ingredient in the product.

This could cause trouble for small and medium-size food processors. Not only will they have to pay for new packaging, they will also need to invest in new ways to ensure correct measurement of food content. Additionally, nutritional labeling, including percentage of protein, fat, carbs, and vitamins and minerals must also appear on labels.
