PMMI DISTRIBUTES $107,000+ IN GRANTS

The Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute’s publication “PMMI Reports” announced that last year the association distributed more than $107ꯠ in grants and other financial support to students in packaging machinery programs, member employees, and organizations dedicated to industry education.

The PMMI Education & Training Foundation’s Claude S. Breeden Scholarships awarded $32ꯠ last year to community college and technical school program students. PMMI also lends financial support to packaging schools that take students to Pack Expo trade shows. This past year, PMMI provided $35ꯠ in grants to support 175 students and 22 professors from 16 schools.
