CORRECTION

Some information in "Going with the flow," Packaging World, Dec. '96, p. 15, was misstated. Piezo-electric-based ink-jet printheads do not always have to be reprimed at each start-up or refill.

Also, many times the slightest shock or vibration won't force a reprime as indicated. And the caption, which states that one ink supply pumps ink to two printheads, should have stated that ink was pumped to the reservoirs inside two printheads. Finally, ink flows from the reservoir to the printhead via capillary action, not gravity. PW regrets the errors.
