Placon: Multi-compartment food containers

Designed for cut fruit, vegetables, nuts, candy, and cheese, Placon’s Fresh ‘n Clear divided bowls contain up to 100% food-safe, post-consumer recycled materials.

Available in black or crystal clear recycled PET as a 32-oz. bowl with 3 compartments and center cup, or as a 48-oz. container with 4 compartments and center cup. The multi-compartment bowls feature Placon’s unique “scround” design (square-round) giving the bowls a custom look for attractive, mouth-watering displays. Made with recycled EcoStar materials consisting of post-consumer bottles and thermoforms that have been diverted from landfills, the bowls offer a great recyclability message for delis to promote to consumers.  

Suitable for colorful fruit and veggies, the bowls feature a dip cup area that fits most major manufacturers’ 4-oz. portion cups. The crush-resistant bowls also feature secure, leak-resistant 360 degree seals with lid and base tabs offset from the corners so the containers are easy to open. Available in 3 lid designs, including flat, flat with “wave” design or domed, the lids can also be custom-embossed for strong brand recognition. The sectioned compartments can be used for a variety of year-round or seasonal uses, from cut apples and caramel dip in the fall, as gifts of gourmet nuts and chocolates for the holidays, and throughout the year for olives, cheese cubes, cut fruits, and veggies.
