Vert announced the launch of its new digitally enabled packaging manufacturing facility in Longmont, Colorado, expanding domestic production capacity built specifically for lifestyle Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brands navigating rapid growth, evolving forecasts, and increasing pressure to innovate faster.

For many growing brands, packaging becomes a bottleneck as they scale. Long lead times delay launches, large minimum order quantities tie up cash, and managing multiple suppliers across different stages of growth slows execution.

Vert’s Longmont facility was built to remove those constraints.

The operation brings digitally printed pouches, roll stock, and labeling production online under one roof, helping brands launch products faster, iterate quicker, reduce supply chain friction, and transition seamlessly into scaled production as demand grows.

Built around HP Indigo digital print technology, the facility supports rapid SKU launches, lower minimums, faster replenishment cycles, and shorter lead times for brands across natural products, food and beverage, sports nutrition, supplements, pet treats, and other lifestyle CPG categories. Vert will initially operate a single HP Indigo CPO 25K Digital Press, delivering the speed, flexibility, and print quality brands require today while providing a scalable foundation for future expansion.

“Historically, brands have had to choose between speed and scale,” said Dustin Steerman, Founder and CEO of Vert. “Vert was built to give them both. Launch fast, validate demand, adapt quickly, and scale smarter through the same ecosystem. Too many lifestyle CPG brands get stuck managing fragmented suppliers, long lead times, and operational drag at the exact moment they need speed most. We built Longmont to remove those bottlenecks and help brands stay focused on innovation and growth. Packaging is a growth lever when working with the right partners.”

"Lifestyle CPG brands need packaging solutions that can keep pace with innovation and changing consumer demands," said Bob Babich, Lead of Flexible Packaging at HP. "By investing in HP Indigo digital print technology, Vert is helping brands bring products to market faster, reduce complexity, and scale with confidence. We are proud to support Vert as they expand their capabilities and empower growing consumer brands with the agility, quality, and flexibility that digital production makes possible."

Originally developed serving highly regulated industries, Vert built its operational model around compressed timelines, rapid product iteration, and high-touch customer support — capabilities now being expanded into broader lifestyle CPG segments.

The Longmont facility strengthens Vert’s hybrid supply chain model, combining domestic quick-turn production with scalable global manufacturing through a single packaging partner.
