Slideways, manufacturer of custom and standard plastic components for packaging machines and conveyor systems, has introduced SlideGlide chute liners designed to virtually eliminate stickers or labels adhering to metal chutes that often cause stops or unwanted repeated slowdowns in high traffic sorting areas in today’s accelerated online ordering environment.

SlideGlide custom chute liners are made from a proprietary formulation of UHMW providing significantly lower coefficient of friction that ensures smoother operation and easy release of stuck stickers, eliminating backups, and the repeated need for costly conveyor downtime as well as added maintenance costs. In addition, the superior durability of the custom liners compared to conventional metal chutes extends the life of the chute, providing long term cost savings and reducing replacement frequency. Other benefits include energy savings and noise reduction for a more efficient and pleasant working environment.
