A new line from Triangle (Chicago, IL) blends and weighs up to 8 items for packaging. Operating at speeds to 90 packages/min, each of 4 vibratory Selectacom computer scales weighs 2 products, then the scales simultaneously discharge product to a bagger or cartoner in specified fill weights.

Lines with fewer than 4 scales are also available. Computer-controlled system features Selectech-Online, which enables engineers at Triangle to diagnose performance as the machines run, eliminating the cost and delay of an in-person service call.
