LM76: Carriage and rail linear motion systems

Available in lengths from 160 mm (6.30 in) to 1200 mm, the low cost, low profile Roll-Slide Mini carriage and rail linear motion systems from LM76 feature: quiet running; low resonance; smooth motion; low friction 440c stainless steel roller bearings (Coeff of Friction is .001 to .010 compared with .15 to .30 for polymer plain bearings); low magnetic signature; corrosion resistant stainless steel rails; and electrodeless nickel plated carriages.

The Roll-Slide Mini travel is from 88 mm (3.46 in) to 1128 mm (44.41 in), and they are 12 mm (0.47 in) high.

For easy integration into an application, the systems have evenly spaced mounting holes in the rails, and the carriage has four drilled and tapped mounting holes. Maximum dynamic load is 80 N (45 lbs) for a single carriage, and the temperature range is -10O to 50O C (-50 O to 140O F). Applications can include: camera sliders; sensor carriers; medical, bio-pharmaceuticals, and food; defense/aerospace; and manual adjustment mechanisms. As an option the carriage is available with a stainless steel, plastic-tipped friction knurled hand stop, and the rails are supplied with end stops. Carriage and rail systems can be ordered with zero clearance for maximum precision.
