The 6mm DIN-rail mount units convert machine frequencies and electrical currents to analog signals for PLCs and monitoring devices.

Frequency Signal Conditioner:
The 857-500 JUMPFLEX® Frequency Signal Conditioner converts frequencies from NPN or PNP sensors, NAMUR sensors, dry contact switching or pulse generator signals to standard analog signals. An on-unit DIP-switch eases in-the-field commissioning.

Application example: directly wire 857-500 to a proximity sensor for counting gear teeth or tracking motor shaft revolutions. An analog output is provided to a VFD or PLC.

Current Signal Conditioner:
The 857-550 JUMPFLEX® Current Signal Conditioner supports electrical utilities by converting AC or DC current measurement (0–5 A) to standard analog signal types. Compatible with all current signal types, it supports current measurement types including: arithmetic mean value, true RMS, signal mapping or absolute measurement. Programming flexibility is provided via on-unit DIP switch or FDT/DTM software.

Application example: accepting output from a current transformer and providing a standard analog signal to monitoring devices.

The new JUMPFLEX® Signal conditioners provide safety via 2.5kV three-way isolation and segment-leading operating temperatures of -25°C to +70°C. Both also carry CE and UL Certifications; EX and GL are pending.
