Variosub fieldbus plug connectors for applications in harsh environments are available from Phoenix Contact. The Variosub Family includes connectors for Interbus, Profibus, and CANopen systems.

To protect against dirt and moisture, these D-sub plug connectors meet protection category IP67. No tools are necessary to lock the plug housing to the mounting frame, which simplifies set-up and maintenance. Integrated EMS shielding protects against interference and allows for error-free data transfer up to 12 Mbps.
