The Series V automated control system on all lines of pneumatically powered thermal impulse heat sealers from TechnaSeal (Livermore, CA) is designed to increase safety, operating efficiency, and control/validation.

Safety features include proximity switches to prevent end-user injury, temperature controls to prevent overheating, password protection of parameter settings, 24 vDC power, and cycle reset sensors/timers to prevent accidential or premature closure. Includes digital readout of parameter settings and error messages, time control to 1/10 second, and tight control of temperature overshoot. Can be configured in either time- or temperature-control mode and can be validated and calibrated to meet or exceed the FDA’s good manufacturing practice standard.
