Anyone interested in increasing the profitability flexibility and efficiency of manufacturing and packaging processes is encouraged to attend the Make2Pack meeting in Germany April 28-29 2005 following the close of the Interpack show.
Make2Pack the joint working group of World Batch Forum the OMAC Packaging Workgroup and the ISA SP88 committee is chartered with better integrating “making” and “packing.” They are leveraging the S88 batch standard and PackML state model to develop S88 Part 5. There are also clear ties to MES information access and S95. For more information on joining contact David Chappell [email protected].
The date coincides with the conclusion of the Interpack trade show at Messe Dusseldorf an event that happens only once every three years and draws packagers and packaging machinery builders from around the world. Traditionally Europe’s premier OEMs save their major new machinery announcements for Interpack which draws buyers from major U.S. food beverage CPG and pharma manufacturers.
