New Clysar EV-HPG™ multi-purpose shrink film is a next- generation solution for brands and retailers seeking a sustainable alternative to conventional non-recyclable shrink packaging. Prequalified for Store Drop-off by How2Recycle®, EV-HPG™ film can reduce the impact of almost any traditional shrink-packaging application without compromise to cost, packaging efficiency or shelf appeal.
Clysar will display its EV-HPG film at PACK EXPO International 2024 in Booth S-3385.
“EV-HPG film is everything our stakeholders have asked for in a recyclable shrink film. It delivers the features that have made our Clysar HP Gold film the industry standard for more than 20 years, now in a fully functional recyclable film with recycled content and a reduced carbon footprint,” says Clysar president Vicki Larson. “It is truly the future of sustainable shrink film.”
The new Clysar film offers significant environmental improvements. It is prequalified for Store Drop-off recycling through How2Recycle with a unique polyolefin material optimized for the recovery stream, and is positioned to address the impacts of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) policy. It is right-gauged to provide up to 9% source reduction over traditional shrink films. Responsibly produced in the USA, it reduces the use of virgin plastic by incorporating up to 30% Clysar® ReClaim™, a certified pre-consumer recycled (PCR) content resin.
