Hi, I'm Chad Pender, President of Graphic Solid Inks, also known as GSI. This year we're showcasing our Colorize and No Label printing systems. They're pretty new on the market, and it's opened up a whole new world for marking, coding, and branding on demand.
What we're showing at this show on the No Label is a two color printing system. It's black and white. We're the only company that can actually print black and white barcodes onto kraft paper in a single pass at high speed. Therefore we're able to eliminate paper labels, help with recycling, bring the cost of label down, and be able to print any additional information regarding branding with our colorized system.
That's our CMYK W, including white, to give really nice vivid pop, and really nice graphics again on brown craft. So we'll show you over here a simulation of a box coming down the production line. What we're doing first is printing an LPN code on the side of the box. It will then pass, go ahead, through our actuator here to simulate a production process where we're able to scan the box and print a black and white barcode.
You'll see the LPN has been sent over to the colorized printer where we're printing full color graphics on demand. The main purpose of the product was to eliminate skews, reduce the number of skews, allowing our customers, end users to basically stock generic craft corrugate in a variety of sizes that they need, only get the information printed on it that is absolutely necessary. The rest of it can be printed on demand, reduces waste, helps with sustainability initiatives, allows for short run, seasonal, promotional, or even large run product. Yep.
