Hello everyone. Welcome to the OPTIMA booth at Pack Expo 2024. I'm here to show you a new system. It's called the Modulin Smart. It's a filling and capping machine, a modular system. It's, it's excellent for running many different products and different closure styles.

So for this, for this example  we're, this is a cosmetic machine where we're filling vials with, with a serum and, and a pipette. But we're also running about ten different other formats on this machine. And so I'll walk you through the processes real quickly, on, on, that are configured on this machine.

Each Modulin Smart is configured in a different way for different products. This machine is capable of running bottles with pipette, bottles with a pump, bottles with a screw cap, and it's even flexible enough to handle jars with a disc and an overcap.

You can see some empty space in the machine. This is built in for future upgrades. So in the future, the customer could also put in like a, a lid sealing like a, a foil sealing placing and sealing system. Or, or any other type of module. If, if your needs change, we can then adapt the machine to run with new modules by strictly a mechanical swapping.

So the, the programming is already. Set up for new modules. And it's just a mechanical swap of the modules to a different position to run a completely different product product. Also, that's something new that's in, in this machine is the HMI. If you come around this way, we're, we have a brand new HMI for Optima, and this is including all of our, uh, smart services products embedded into the HMI.

So we have efficiency monitoring, monitoring systems. cycle based maintenance systems. Also a really cool tool is the changeover assist option where we can choose to, to go from format three to format, say seven, we open up and it shows every part that you're going to need for the changeover. So every format part, you press start and you have step by step instructions with a 3d model of where you need to work on the machine. And it even goes further to show video of each, of each process. So, your, your operators can walk right through and easily change over the machine.

Really unique to this machine is a new method of manufacturing for OPTIMA. So we're building these machines to stock. Means the frames are prebuilt and also the modules are pre built. This means we can put a, a machine together for you, uh, from PO to FAT in four to six months. And to keep the machine really agile for our contract manufacturers, we wanted to make it really reactive in the different products it could run and quick to bring new products onto the machine. So you'll notice all the format parts of the machine are 3D printed. This allows for really fast manufacturing, four to six weeks from PO to delivery, for a new set of format parts.

I really appreciate you joining in, and, reach out with any questions.
