ARPAC LLC: High-speed shrink bundler

The high-speed servo-driven 75GI shrink bundler from Arpac (Schiller Park, IL) can operate at speeds to 75 bundles/min. The addition of the servo drive provides smoother, quieter acceleration and deceleration of seal carriage and seal head, which ultimately results in a longer machine life.

Machine has a seal head that only opens to a low height until a taller bundle is detected, and then it automatically adjusts to accept it. By keeping the seal head low, higher operating speeds are possible.
