Banner Engineering Corp.: Mid-range foreground/background suppression sensors

The QS30AFF400 foreground suppression sensor and the QS30AF600 background suppression sensor from Banner Engineering are mid-range adjustable-field sensors that use advanced linear image technology.

These sensors are capable of twice the detection range with less color sensitivity than Banner's previous generation of sensors.  The use of a 128 pixel camera (linear imager) makes QS30 sensors resistant to mechanical shock and vibration, enabling advanced image processing to maximize the range and minimize the effects of target color. The sensors also have crosstalk immunity and can reject fluorescent or other spurious light signals, allowing multiple Banner sensors to be used in close proximity to one another.
