Slider zipper for large vf/f/s bags

INTERPACK : UVA Packaging has launched the Newton 400, a vf/f/s machine that applies SLIDER zippers from Zip-Pak to large format block bottom bags.

Machine applies the SLIDER technology to the top of the pack in the transverse, or cross-web direction. A 10# pet food bag in block-bottom configuration with corner seals can be fitted with a SLIDER zipper and easy-open perforation at speeds to 45 bags/min. Machine is equipped with high-quality, modular construction for maximum flexibility. Operators can easily switch between corner-sealed, block bottom, bottom seal, pillow, air deflation, and bag-in-bag packaging formats without the use of tools.
