Emergency stop switches

New TH-Contact® TE1 emergency stop switches from Johnson Electric are rugged, IP-65-sealed switches that conform to EN60947-1, EN 60947-5-1, and EN-60947-5-5.

Available with illuminated or nonilluminated mushroom-cap-dias of 25, 30, and 40 mm for 16.2-mm panel cutout or 22.5 mm with adapter option. They are said to provide nearly twice the operating force of some E-stop switches, yielding high-level functionality in a smaller space. Switches provide 1 NO (normally open) and 1 NC (normally closed) or 2 NC switching functions. Suitable for use as a safety option in applications such as remote control equipment, machine automation, hand-held devices, and portable equipment.
