Smurfit-Stone (Chicago, IL) has developed PaperCan™, which uses a paperboard body with an integrated easy-to-open-and-close paperboard lid. Made of laminated or barrier-coated paperboard that can be linear or blank-formed.

Along with features like rounded corners, PaperCan provides barrier protection that meets or exceeds current product requirements. The container eliminates the need for interior bags often found in folding cartons for cereal, snacks and crackers. Also suitable for cleaners and detergents.
