Good morning, my name is Mike Collins. I'm the Director of Equipment Sales for Elopak in North America. What we have on display at PACK EXPO 2025 in Las Vegas is our innovative S-PM200 screw milk filling machine designed to do four, six, eight, and 10-oz cartons. The machine was newly introduced into the US market in 2021. Starting on this end of the machine is where we have our blank unloading zone. Elopac is a manufacturer of the blanks, so the blanks are loaded by the operator in this zone. They immediately get formed and placed onto mandrels, in which the bottom portion of the carton is formed and sealed on both the top-forming and the bottom-forming sections. We use a robust cam-driven press to make sure that we have highly integral seals to the container directly from the bottom-sealing zone.

We enter the filling chamber. The filling chamber is accomplished by dosing the product in two shots, valve shot one and valve shot two. We employ aseptic valve technology in these filling valves. They're controlled by a linear shovel motor mounted underneath the machine. The aseptic technology uses two diaphragms, and we have a vacuum detector, vacuum leak detector in between the diaphragms. So if either of those diaphragms has their integrity violated, we can notify and alarm that machine, shut down that line, and continue production until we're through. After filling, we go into our top-sealing zone. We have a forced air, hot air, electric heater for applying the activation temperature to make the top seal, where we go into the cam-forming, top-ceiling zone. After that, out of the machine comes a fully form filled and sealed carton. My name again is Mike Collins with Elopak. For more information, visit us at elopak.com.
