Hi, my name is Michael Colthorp, with Packsize. I'm the Solutions Program Manager for the X5 Nozomi, which we are just unveiling publicly this week. What the X5 Nozomi does is it takes our already, right-size-on-demand packaging philosophy and adds full color, dynamic printing to the boxes. So basically, this machine produces anywhere from 450 to 570 boxes an hour, and each box coming out of the machine can be a different, dynamic print, and there's a few key features that is gonna be super usable for our customer.
Variable data is one of the main features. Variable data, we can print basically different LPN labels, different DOT hazmat-type shipping labels, and even shipping labels on the boxes. This allows our brands to connect their customers with different products with their e-commerce sites, that kind of thing. Another feature is, basically we have a smart scaling application technology which basically allows you to take one box design and scale that design across an infinite number of sizes.
So typically today if you have a box queue of let's say 200 boxes, if you want to print on all those boxes, you would need 200 different PDFs tied to each of those sizes. What this machine allows you to do is just have one design, saving hundreds of hours of design time, and then you can scale that design across many different boxes, but as you can see, you can put different branding, random repeat. You could, if you wanted, you could have your customer choose wrapping paper print for their boxes. You could do targeted advertisements if you want.
It allows you to generate another form of revenue by, again just placing different types of advertising on your boxes, and again, it's just kind of coming full circle with the whole process. But we're Packsize. We're super excited to announce the X5 Nozomi.
