Video: Paint by the numbers: New line cuts costs, speeds filling

Brought in-house to save the costs of copacking, a new, fully automated packaging line for Ace Paint fills paint-sample containers at 50/min with minimal operator intervention.

A comparatively small but dynamic player in the increasingly consolidated home paint market, Matteson, IL-based Ace Paint Division of Ace Hardware Corp. prides itself on developing innovative, high-quality products to secure its Ace dealers' loyalty.

Packaging World Senior Editor Anne Marie Mohan went into the Ace plant to witness the machinery in action. Take a look at what she saw. Read her full report here.
