Saddle Creek Logistics Services, which provides integrated warehousing, fulfillment, transportation and packaging to U.S. manufacturing, retail and ecommerce customers, has upgraded its information technology with cloud-based customer engagement software from Enspire Commerce.
Enspire’s software suite includes an order management system (OMS) that enhances enterprise inventory visibility with features for product information management and trading partner management/EDI. This is expected to help Saddle Creek's distribution centers facilitate seamless interactions with retailers and their suppliers, stores and customers. In turn, the upgrade is expected to:
- Improve customers' view of inventory across their businesses,
- Optimize order routing within the 3PL’s nationwide distribution center network,
- Seamlessly manage returns, and
- Improve omnichannel fulfillment—including ship from store/pick up from store, and ship from vendor.
