Graphics supply 'hot' new look

Squirt, a citrus soft drink from Dr. Pepper/Seven Up, Inc., unveiled a new look earlier this summer. The bolder, more contemporary image of its product line packaging was created by Landor Associates (San Fran-cisco, CA) to communicate Squirt’s refreshing and exhilarating burst of citrus flavor.

“The new packaging graphics for Squirt increase the relevancy of the brand to our key 18- to 34-year old consumers by communicating its fun, upbeat, and outgoing brand personality,” says David Hawes, brand manager for Squirt. “We believe the new image will definitely stand out on store shelves and encourage new consumers to try Squirt.” The new graphics retain the yellow, red, and green color scheme from the previous design, but feature a larger piece of citrus fruit bursting with juice and flavor, giving the package more energy. Squirt is available nationally at all major retail outlets.
