New Approach for Cleaner, Simpler Filling

See how simple changes in machine design can create more sanitary, easier-to-operate rotary filling.

In this video, Packing World’s Pat Reynolds and Timm Johnson, VP Sales & Marketing at Spee-Dee discuss how several major shifts in the design of filling machinery--including changes to base of the equipment and innovations that support tool-less use--are helping packagers respond to the Food Safety Act’s call for more sanitary product handling.

Notably, these features to support simple set-up and cleaning don’t affect speed of use. In fact, rotary filling continues to trump in-line competitors, reaching maximum speeds of up to 400 containers per minute. Many food packagers are taking note, particularly those producing baby formula, nutraceuticals, drink mixes, spices, and mixed nuts.
