capture relevant information pertaining to the produce supply chain in
real-time, using RFID or bar code. Once the data is captured, users
have immediate visibility, allowing them to meet their responsibility
in delivering fresh, traceable food products. Secure Visibility offers
both case-level and pallet-level produce traceability information for
wholesalers, distributors and retailers via a web-enabled system. The
system can provide instant traceability records for response to any
suspected food-borne contaminations such as E. coli or salmonella or
product recalls.
