ID Technology: Wax ink printer

The FDA-approved Waxjet Series 6 printer from ID Technology (Fort Worth, TX) is safe for food packaging applications. It uses nontoxic, solvent-free wax ink to print 1 to 5 lines of text on plastic, wood, paper or film.

One version prints 150 dpi at speeds to 265’/min, another prints 300 dpi at 135’/min. Wax inks come in red, blue and black. Waxjet may be integrated into an existing line or added as part of a custom turnkey system.
